Yet Another Piece of My Mind

Thanks to all of you who have read and responded on the post A Piece of My Mind. Let me encourage you to also read On That Note and On the Flip Side.

These two entries were the ones I wrote in direct response to feedback I received from my angry Army wife rantings. The posts show two different sides of the view of war; one point being from me and one from a very dear friend of mine who is months from being on the front lines in Iraq.

I think the beauty of the situation is that no matter what your view of the war or the politics surronding it the most important thing to remember is the men and women who serve in all branches of the military.

  1. I love the way you summarize this and the way you write about it. You offer a fresh perspective — one I’ve never thought about before because I don’t know any military wives — and I find your view fascinating.

You’ve hit the nail on its head. The most important thing is remembering them. And respecting what they do, no matter if you agree or disagree.
